With only two days remaining in the WVU Women's Soccer Odds vs. Evens Challenge, #WVUTeamEvens takes the lead with $4,298 from 29 donors representing 15 different states! Not too far behind, #WVUTeamOdds has raised $3,871 from 23 donors in 15 states. The challenge ends on Thursday, August 30 as the Mountaineers take on Xavier in the 2018 home opener. Thank you for your support of WVU Women's Soccer! With only six days left in the Odds vs. Evens Challenge, the team heads to West Lafayette, Indiana for the Boilermaker Challenge Cup with games against Purdue on Friday and #19 Northwestern on Sunday. The Mountaineers open their home season a week from today on Thursday, August 30 vs. Xavier! This year's promotional schedule has been announced, highlighted by Dollar Day, Dog Day, and plenty of giveaways! All 90 Minute Club members will have the opportunity to be recognized during the Friday, September 28 home game vs. Kansas State. Also, the WVU Soccer Scarf package is back and includes 10 tickets to be used at any women's or men's regular-season soccer match and an exclusive 2018 WVU soccer scarf.

Good afternoon and happy preseason! As you may know, our team is ranked #9 in the preseason poll and took down Wake Forest 3-2 in an exhibition on Sunday.  We’re excited to open up the regular season at #4 Penn State this Friday! Thanks to everyone that has participated in our Odds vs. Evens challenge. Team Odds leads the challenge with $2,516, but Team Evens is not far behind with $1,365. Your donations help our student-athletes have the best experience possible, help us to continue recruiting the most talented prospects, and help us win championships! The challenge concludes on August 30, on the same day as our home opener vs. Xavier! Happy Preseason, Mountaineer fans! The West Virginia University women's soccer team officially opened its 2018 preseason with a training session this morning at Dreamswork Field. A total of 16 letterwinners, including six starters, return to the Mountaineers this season. The squad is coming off a 16-win campaign in 2017 and an appearance in the NCAA Tournament Third Round. WVU has advanced to the tournament's "Sweet 16" for three consecutive seasons and six times in program history. The five-time Big 12 Conference champion Mountaineers were ranked in the top 10 of the United Soccer Coaches and TopDrawerSoccer.com polls throughout the season last fall. The team also enters 2018 with a 39-match unbeaten streak in home conference matches.    With 28 days remaining in the Odds vs. Evens Challenge, #WVUTeamOdds has taken the lead with 12 donors and $1,412. Please spread the word to your teammates, family, friends, and other Mountaineer fans to maintain this lead! On the other side, #WVUTeamEvens isn't too far behind with 13 donors and $1,115. Let's Go Mountaineers!

Thanks to all of our loyal Mountaineers that have supported WVU Women's Soccer through the Odds vs. Evens Alumni Challenge so far! Ten days into the challenge, #WVUTeamEvens takes the lead by raising $1,015 from 12 donors in 8 different states, including California, Colorado, Illinois, Kentucky, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Maryland! However, #WVUTeamOdds isn't far behind with $931 from 8 donors in 6 different states, including California, West Virginia, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Wisconsin.
