The time is now – to lift each other up. Help students from underrepresented groups receive and maintain access to a WVU education by removing financial barriers that might prevent them from pursuing their educational goals.
Our Mountaineer Family is awakening to the harm systemic racism causes to individuals, to institutions and to society at-large. Adding to that, the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic have disproportionately affected students from underrepresented groups.
The West Virginia University Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion works year-round to help create a diverse and inclusive culture on our campuses – a culture that allows every student, every faculty or staff member, and each campus visitor to learn, work and grow in a safe and nurturing environment. These efforts are on-going and require the help of our WVU community to ensure that we create the welcoming environment every Mountaineer deserves.
