The WVU Student Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists (SSHP) as well as the J.W. Ruby Memorial Inpatient Pharmacy Residents and Intern team recognize that these are difficult times for us all. At WVU Medicine Children’s, our experts have continued what they do every day, keeping children, families, and our community safe.
The impact we feel has been felt across many fundraising efforts as well. Being community members and healthcare workers, we want to do our part to support our health system, and specifically, our local children’s hospital.
By coming together, we can truly make a difference. Donations made to the Making Mountain Miracles directly support the WVU Medicine Children’s Comfort Fund. We selected this fund because we wanted to help pediatric patients receiving therapy and their families who support them. There are various areas of need associated with a child’s treatment such as medication costs, lodging, transportation, and other supportive and social services. This fundraiser has its sights on mitigating those expenses, lessening barriers that would otherwise prevent kids from getting the healthcare they need.
These expenses build up quickly, and we want to do everything we can to ease that burden so families and caregivers can focus on one thing — their child’s care.
Please help us do our part in making miracles happen right here in the Mountain State! The Top 5 donors will receive a WVU Medicine Children’s stainless steel tumbler, pens bracelets and more! Anonymous donations will not be eligible for the top donor gift.
Provides a gift card for a meal or snacks, helpful during a long day at the hospital.
