We Need Your Help

WVU’s Athletic Facilities Master Plan, Climbing Higher, will include renovations to the WVU Football Complex, WVU Olympic Sports Complex, WVU Men's Golf Practice Facility and the Cary Gym Complex.  These student-athlete focused renovations will include a new Olympic Sports Weight room and performance area, new team locker rooms and lounge spaces, as well as updated team/coaching meeting rooms.  These enhancements are vital to help West Virginia to recruit, retain and train student-athletes, while continuing to compete for Big 12, MAC, GARC and NCAA Championships.

 

  • WVU Football Complex

    • The Puskar Center phase of the master plan identifies approximately 72,000 square feet of renovation and 13,700 square feet of expansion to reflect WVU Football's success and promote its future. Key project needs include a renovated athletic training room with a new hydrotherapy center, an expanded locker room with wider lockers and updated ventilation and a renovated team lounge.

  • WVU Olympic Sports Complex

    • West Virginia University The WVU Olympic Sports Complex will become the home for the strength and conditioning, training, rehabilitation, and nutrition area for all WVU Olympic Sports Programs.  More than 400 student-athletes will benefit from the performance center and it will equip our coaches and staff with the necessary means to compete and recruit at a championship level.

  • WVU Men's Golf Practice Facility
    • West Virginia University will soon add a training and development center to create a true home for the WVU men's golf program. At an estimated cost of $5 million, this will facility will include a team clubhouse and locker room, six indoor hitting bays, driving range, short game area and putting green and a multiple green practice course.
  • Cary Gym Complex

    • West Virginia University will soon renovate Cary Gym, the existing practice facility of the WVU Gymnastics team. At an estimated cost of $5 million, this renovation will update the training room, locker room, as well as add gym space, a student-athletes' lounge, a study area, a team meeting space, a cardio-rehab space and a storage space.
