WVU Libraries COVID-19 Needs

More than ever, online resources are critical to the everyday success of students impacted by COVID-19.

As more classes are held remotely, the demand for digital access to essential research materials continues to grow rapidly as do requests for technical resources like laptops.  Alleviating the burden of additional fees for these resources is one way our Libraries have impacted lives and reduced stress for students and faculty.

The following have reached a new urgency during these difficult times.  Your generosity can meet the need.

$35 – Interlibrary loan (“just in time” access to a book or journal article for research)

$100 – Average cost to purchase or access one book for class or faculty reserve.

$250 - Purchase of one year subscription to a WV newspaper

$500 – Substantial support for laptops, electronics for student loan

$1000 - Funding the work of one part-time student for one semester

Please consider supporting our efforts to provide the online and physical resources that are in demand for these remote and online users, who may or may not have access to the campus.  What we do now can make the difference for a student to stay in school, complete their research and ultimately take part in the discoveries that will make a lasting impact in their lives and ours.

How To Help

  1. Contribute today! All proceeds raised through donation, whether small or large, will make a big difference!
