WVU Men's Lacrosse is beginning its 52nd season! In order to do so, we ask for your support to help offset the cost of travel. With your gift today, your supporting athlete success on the field.
WVU Men's Lacrosse was founded by Jeff Dreisbach on March 24, 1971. Since that first game, nearly 3,000 student athletes have played lacrosse for the Mountaineers.
The team currently has 54 players, 5 coaches and 2 managers and plays in the Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA), a nationwide lacrosse organization of over 200 universities divided into 9 regional conferences. WVU is a member of the Atlantic Lacrosse Conference (ALC) where it competes as a Division I program with 9 other universities in the mid-atlantic region.
As the program enters it's second 50 years, aiming to compete for championships on a national level. Currently the team plays a national schedule and continue to increase it's fan base and social media following.
Thank you for your $250 gift in support of the WVU men's lacrosse program.
