Any shot. Any block. Any possession. Could be THE ONE. With a #4 seed in the West Region and a #13 ranking in the final AP poll, Coach Huggins and the Mountaineers need YOUR help in order to make more moments and memories a reality this March.

Competing in one of the most competitive basketball conferences in the country in the Big 12, the Legacy Fund was established to provide the necessary additional private support to the Men’s Basketball program so as to facilitate a championship-caliber experience for WVU coaches and student-athletes, alike. Used primarily to help offset the two, ever-increasing costs associated with a top flight Division I men’s basketball program – recruiting and team travel – the Legacy Fund not only allows Head Coach Bob Huggins and his staff to recruit top-tier student-athletes that many of WVU’s alumni and friends can take pride in but empowers our young men to maximize their educational experience through the use of chartered flights that enables them to spend more time in the classroom during the season.

West Virginia University's Basketball tradition of greatness began with legends like Jerry West and “Hot Rod” Hundley. The tradition has continued with the likes of Kevin Pittsnogle, Joe Alexander, Da’Sean Butler, Devin Ebanks, and Kevin Jones. By supporting the Legacy Fund, you ensure that WVU Men’s Basketball’s proud tradition will continue into the future.
