The Academy of Student Pharmacists is a professional pharmacy organization and is one of the three academies in the American Pharmacists Association (APhA). APhA-ASP members participate in a variety of activities such as professional meetings, service projects, social functions, and legislative lobbying.
Every year, a group of students attends the annual meeting for the American Pharmacist Association (APhA). This is the most comprehensive and well-respected pharmacy meeting for pharmacy professionals and future leaders in pharmacy. APhA2017 delivers presentations by nationally recognized experts covering topics ranging from leadership and pharmacy management to patient safety and medication errors.
This year's meeting is in San Francisco on March 24, 2017. The WVU chapter of APhA-ASP would like to send a group of 20 students to represent our pharmacy school as well as meet and interact with pharmacists from around the country.
We are asking for your support to help our group of students travel to San Francisco. Your generous donation to our campaign will help cover:
Registration fees
Hotel accommodations
Transportation costs
Airfare
Every little bit helps, and we are very thankful for your generous support!
