Who are we
The West Virginia University Chapter of the Student Academy of Audiology is a student organization with an administrative board of second year AuD students. The organization is dedicated to the awareness and prevention of hearing loss, as well as the support of students and clinicians involved in the field of audiology. See below our team of second year AuD students.
Why we need YOUR HELP
The Student Academy of Audiology (SAA) is working to raise funds for members to attend the American Academy of Audiology 2018 Conference in Nashville, Tennessee. At this conference, students will be able represent the audiology program at West Virginia University by attending four days of educational sessions. These include:10 round table discussions, networking sessions, an SAA externship panel, a Special Olympics healthy hearing panel, and so much more. The students will also be able to explore the latest in hearing technology and further their education in the field. More than any other, this out-of-classroom experience, allows our students to see the most up to date techniques in the field of audiology.
Funds will pay for:
Conference Registration: $40 per student
Student Member Rate: $45
Hotel :$200 per night per student
Flight: $240 round-trip per student
