Our Crowdfunding Groups
They say it takes a village. If that’s true, then we are so grateful that you are our village. On Friday night more than 50 students and over a dozen professionals stayed awake for 24-hours to make dreams come true. The dreams of students who wanted to hone their skills were realized. The dreams of three local nonprofits came to life. All of this is because you believed in us.
Your contribution changed lives and we are forever grateful for your support.
CreateAthon@WVU is overwhelmed with the support we have received from the Mountaineer family. Because of your generous donations, we have been able to reach and surpass our goal of raising $1,000.
With this money, the CreateAthon team will be able to support 60+ students and 20+ volunteers during our 24-hour creative marathon on Apr. 20 - Apr 21. Ultimately, the work produced during the event will support the mission of Libera WV, Friends of Cheat, and WVU Extension Service.
These three nonprofit organizations have impacted our state tremendously. In order to further support the projects created during CreateAthon, we have decided to increase our donation goal to $1,500. With the additional donations, our organization can afford to buy more supplies and materials needed to assist our participants.
We believe a dream is worth more than sleep, and with your support, CreateAthon@WVU is one step closer to making dreams a reality.
